‘Lost’ recently wrote in to say she didn’t know what to do. Her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend, who’s living with him, is pregnant, and the baby could be his. But he says he wants to be with Lost “forever.” She loves him and wants to believe him. In the meantime, she’s so depressed she can barely drag herself to work and thinks about suicide.
I told her if she gave her boyfriend another chance, she’d be choosing “misery with a weak, lying, cheating, pathetic sex addict, his girlfriend, a baby and enough drama for 10 soap operas.”
I also told her to get into therapy to work on her depression and then on her self-esteem so she doesn’t allow losers into her life.
